Winds of Change....

Or perhaps shall I say, Love is in the Air...

I see flowers blooming among my friends. They are on a high. One is in denial, or trying to suppress his feelings among his friends. I don't know, maybe it's just my speculation. His (perhaps) partner is very good lady that I see no reason not to proceed to next level. Let them take it slowly. Afterall, no confirmation has been made. I'll just be happy with what he wants to do or say.

But another one is having an express relationship that I never thought would progress that fast. It's a crow! No, it's a B52, no it's SuperEd! Why am I impressed by his progress? Just on the 2nd Syawal, he told me in an emotional manner how he got frustrated being matched by his relatives. At the time we met, he had just seen the second girl that his family members arranged. How pitiful he was, we were talking in a car, just like couples!

But two days later, his mood was totally changed! He speaks in a sincerely high note. Normally, he would tune up his voice and gradually it became weaker until we hung up. But not this time. I sensed happiness out of his speech.

"You know what, Jo? I'm in love right now!"
"What the...."
"Hell yeah, I am!"
"Wwell.. That's great! But damn it, who's that girl?"
"You wouldn't believe me. But hell, it's the one that I met before we met last time!"
"Whutta??!"

Well, a schematic diagram is more colourful than the dialogue above, but we were actually talking in Malay and some words are not quite suitable for the masses. Nevertheless, he never stop talking about that girl ever since. Being a friend who watched he stumbled on previous relationship, I tried to slow him down, telling be careful this time. Silly me, let him be happy even if it might hurt (if it ever happens!) later. I've never seen him happier for such a very long time.

Later, he bugged me from time to time, asking what to do on espionage [merisik =)] and engagement. What to bring and what to say. Okay, he didn't bug me, I like him asking those questions. That means they are seriously considering a marriage...... In just three weeks of express relationship? Why not?

Talking about marriage, uh-oh, I have only 31 days before I lose my virginity! Oh, my! I never realise it is already so close! Aaaarrggghhh!! Lot's of things to be done!
